The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers is a multi-stakeholder group and non-profit organisation responsible for coordinating the maintenance and procedures of several databases related to the namespaces and numerical spaces of the Internet, ensuring the network’s stable and secure operation.
ICANN74 was held as a hybrid meeting in The Hague, Netherlands. It was the first in-person ICANN meeting since 2019 and brought together representatives from around the world to discuss internet policy issues, including representatives from the domain name industry, technical community and governments.
Our Australian member, Congress Rental Australia, having a very long relation with the ICANN Organization, undertook the technical support in regard to simultaneous interpretation, remote interpretation and conference systems! For that, they asked the collaboration of our Dutch member, Jacot Audiovisueel.
More than 3 booths were equipped with the latest technology and ISO compliance Bosch Dicentis Conference Systems and further on with the relevant interpretation booths. A room was specially set up for the technical team to be able to set up streaming facilities for the interpretation for the remote participants, making the ICANN74 meeting a flawless one!
One more time the synergy of our network’s members provided a high-standard professional result, making the return to live meetings and events feasible and smooth!
