ITU-WTSA 2024 in New Delhi!

Expro Events and Exhibits were appointed as the Event Management Company for Conceptualization, Designing, Event Management and Event Production & Overlays for WTSA 2024.

The scope of Expro Events and Exhibits included the following:

1. Conceptualization, designing and event management of ITU-WTSA 2024
2. Fabrication and Technical (Audio-Visual, Trussing and Lighting arrangements) for 14 Plenary Halls, ranging from 30 PAX, 100 PAX, 300 PAX, 750 PAX to 1500 PAX
3. Provision of 24 GBPS Dedicated lease-line and distribution to an area to 40,000 square meters.
4. & Other Event Management Services, including Manpower, power management, Projection mapping, Branding, City Commercial branding, etc

Out of the 14 plenary halls, 12 plenary halls required conferencing solutions from 30 PAX to 300 PAX, for which Bosch CCS 1000 were used.
The two largest halls with capacity of 750pax and 1500pax respectively, required two-way communication amongst all delegates. Specifically for the event, Expro Events procured and installed the following conferencing solutions, in addition to other fabrication and furnishing requirements:

• 1.125 Bosch Dicentis DEs discussion devices
• 24 Bosch Interepreters I-deks

plus all the rest necessary equipment to make things work seamlessly!

The ITU World Telecommunication Standardization Assembly (WTSA-24) was a major global conference held in New Delhi, India, from October 14-24, 2024, hosted for the first time in Asia, involving over 160 nations in defining future digital infrastructure, and marking India’s growing influence in global tech standards. The Conference witnessed a historic turnout of 3,700 international delegates from over 160 countries, marking the highest participation ever for a WTSA assembly.
