Corporate events are back in full!

   A well-known brand hosted a stakeholders meeting in Rotterdam of the Netherlands last month. After 2,5 years of COVID-19 and digital conferencing, they were finally able to organize onsite meetings, where they could all come together to look back on the previous 4 years, discuss the future of the brand and conduct in full their internal procedures. Our local member in the business area of the Netherlands, Jacot Audiovisueel, was called upon to fully technically support this event in question.

   Full audiovisual equipment, conference and simultaneous interpretation systems as well as RSI facilitation were provided to the meeting. Using the network’s white-label platform, interpreters could work from home or their office. Interpretation was provided in 10 different languages, without using one single interpretation booth in the room.  The Dutch team was split in two, onsite and office from Jacot’s Headquarters were the colleagues from the office monitored, moderated and supported the online interpreters.

   For discussion devices, the Bosch Dicentis MMD wired unites were used, for each one of the 55 attendees having their own unit to use. The device was used as well for interpretation distribution, with everyone being able to follow the proceedings in their preferred language by choosing it through its touchscreen.
